With the Canon CD4070NW archiving machine, scan speeds for black and white images range up to 42 pages per minute in Simplex mode and 85 images per minute in Duplex mode. Documents can also be quickly scanned in greyscale or mixed mode - or front pages can be scanned perfectly in colour.
A high-precision paper feeding mechanism handles a variety of sizes from bank cheques to B4 pages, or even forms printed on pressure-sensitive paper. Images can be easily optimised. Advanced Text Enhancement improves legibility with hard-to-scan documents, colour removal increases OCR accuracy, and there's also blank page deletion.

When linked to your office network the Canon CD4070NW archiving machine can be used to scan documents to a network folder, allowing documents to be shared without having to record a CD-R. Scanned documents can also be sent by e-mail to individuals or groups simply by selecting addresses registered in the Canon CD4070NW archiving machine.
Using a simple web browser interface, network users can search, view and download documents stored on the hard disc drive. Searches by the Full Text Search Engine are lightning fast, with files searchable by key word, file name, file type, date, directory or any word in the text.
